Gingivitis is simple a gum disease that is best described as inflammation of the gum because of infection. Gingivitis is best treated in its early stage to avoid it from aggravation and turns to a more serious oral health problem such as tooth loss. Early stage of gingivitis usually appears as inflamed or swollen gum and easily bleeds.
